Higher Education Day

Today is the Higher Education day. So I attended 3 seminars and got some perspectuses of various Universities. The seminars to be honest wasn't helpful really, and the Unis I wanted wasnt really there. But I do know that I would probably be doing something like Philosophy and Psychology or PPE. The whole day was pretty intense but relaxful. Got some prospectuses of Manchester, York, Leeds, UCL, St Anne's College Oxford...etc I think I still thinking which college I should apply to in Oxford.... St. John's College is very strong overall, so I am not sure whether I can go into that, so I will maybe try St. Anne's or St. Magdelene's college. WEll... it will all happen unil I made up my mind what subjects I will be doing.....

Lam's 18h Birthday

Well, yesterday was Chris Lam's 18th birthday. So after prep I went up to Thomas' to celebrate with him, alongside with Kenneth, small Felix, Wayne and the Thomas' boys. Anyway, it was alot of fun for me. I bought a chocolate birthday cake from M&S for him which was delightfully nice. They are very different to the Owsald's style and I enjoyed it alot. I know that the atmosphere was quite tense last night. But overall, I loved it and despite everything, I've known Chris since I came here and it's nice to see him last night that he's actually grown. From the things he said through the night, he's actually grown. And he said to me, 'Felix, lemme tell you, I am not that scared about being 18 now really. I have thought it through. The REAL turning point for me in life will be when I turn 20!' And from what I heard from Kenneth, Chris has got a really nice gift from Lam (his gf). Apparently she sent him a bottle of perfume, some food I think, a boxer and a love letter which apparently could melt any heart! hehe! Chris is so lucky... the whole Ampleforth Chinese community write a Birthday card for him. But I know he has realised how lucky he is geh.... so HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you la Chris! And I love you (in a friend's way).

Today morning is a great day for me, only first lesson with 2nd lesson Q and 3rd lesson cancelled. But I have alot of prep to do to hand in tmw, so it's not that great.
